Build Separate motorway for lorries instead of HS2 Proposal
instead of the proposed spending 42.6bn of tax payers money on a super fast railway system that isn’t needed, use the same planned route to build a lorry only motorway. this would cost significantly less to build meaning the left over money can be used to help finance the NHS, Education, and working schemes. This would also eliminate nearly all of the congestion on our motorways making it safer for the general public travelling too and from work generating less accidents and ultimately less deaths on our roads and motorways. Fines of £500 can be given to any driver & associated company that fails to use the specifically built lorry motorways, generating additional money that can be used to rebuilt our roads. especially as now, if you have a low emissions vehicle, you don’t pay road tax….how can all of the pot holes and uneven roads be fixed if there is no money to fix them. Considering the roads are in the their current state due to over populated lorry distribution, it’s only right that these big corporations should help fund the replenishment of our roads
